Reality

The first question we have to ask is how sure we can be about what we call the reality. Subjectivists say that everything we can observe is created by our own mind. On the other hand, objectivists say that the Universe objectively exists and it can be described by the science.

The perception can be affected by various mental disseases and drugs, in fact by the chemicals in our brain. However, I believe (and hopefully one day there will be an objective proof) that there really is existing matter and energy and we are part of it. But there is a difference between observation and perception. Organisms without intelligence don't mix their observation with thinking and therefore they don't percept things around. Intelligent beings are affected by their brains, because there is something like a virtual enity of the being which the psychology describes as a personality. Therefore, perception of different beigns is different. But there is still a way for "objective" science: one kind has common features and parameters of perception which affect them. So if the scientists are of the same kind they can objectively (for the kind) describe what they all see.

Imagine a dog (that sees black-and-white) have human eyes and an ability to use them properly. He would be so amazed of many different colours he would see and realize that what he thought his whole life that was the reality turned out to be something completely different. And we can only imagine what we could see if we had different eyes of what we would be with different brains.
